The number most of the internet still quotes, $79, is the Lite+ plan. It is a real tier. It is no longer the entry point, and for most single-account traders the Standard Lite at $59.99 is the better buy.

The Plus premium runs from +$10 (Starter) to +$100 (Dedicated). What it buys is faster individual cores, which charting platforms like, and backups, which you only appreciate after a broken Windows update at the New York open. The odd one out is Ultra+: it costs $10 more than Ultra and has four fewer cores, so algo traders who run parallel backtests should stay on Standard Ultra.

Who Should Use QuantVPS?
